    He wants to adopt my son
    [F]Hi.. I am just wondering my son was born in 2005 and while I was 2 months pregnant I met the man who is my husband now.. I don't know who my son real father is and really don't care... my husband wants to adopt him what do I have to do in order for that to happen?

    Engage an attorney to prepare the adoption petititon. The courts WILL require that you make an attempt to contact the father and get his permission for the adoption. The attorney will tell you what steps you need to take.

    Yes, you will have to make an attempt to find and see who the father is. It is a lot harder if you don't know exactly who it is.
    But you will start with an attorney
