    Child Support Blackmail
I live in Brooklyn, NY. I have two daughters ages 4 and 5. I work overnights and my kids stay in their paternal grandmother's home with their father when Im at work. He refuses to help out financially and says if I take him to court he will no longer stay with the girls while I work. He knows I have no choice. If I take him to court for child support can I request for the court to order him to keep them at night in replace of visitation or as a form of visitation?

    Hello mom:

Sure you can. But, he's not required to "visit", and if he wants to be a NEGATIVE in the raising of his children, then he's going to. You aren't going to change him.

If you lay down NOW, it's going to get worse and your children will be the loser.

If it were me, I'd hire a family attorney on MONDAY morning.
