    1040 or which IRS form?
I don't fulfill the residency test (183 days stay) in US for 2008. In 2007 I had filled 1040 in 2007 as I had met the residency test in 2007. What would be the appropriate form for me to use in 2008?

If you left before the end of 2008, you need to file an expatriate dual-status return.
