    J1 waiver procedure
    HI,
I am a postdoctoral fellow from India. I am live in Texas on J1 visa. Now that my J1 trm is getting completed I want to get a (2year home rule) J1 waiver under the category of NORI (no objection to return to india).

I have strated this process and I sent the affidavits forms to the three departments in India and got the papers back from all departments.

I want to start the next step in this process. What am I supposed to do with these papers and where should I send them. Can any kindly tell me what steps do I follow from here on to get the complete J1 waiver decision.

    Thanking you,
    Vbr

After you get the NOS, go online to complete DOS form 3035, print it out (barcoded) and submit per instructions including the filing fee and all documentation required for the waiver review board to make their recommendation.

The board will forward their recommendation directly to USCIS and they make the final determination and will contact you directly.
