    What can an ex employer say about you?
    I work in Nevada, I have left a former employer due to a FDA security issue that the manager was trying to cover up and had asked me to cover up the issue.

    I am getting feedback that my former manager is giving wrong information about employment dates and say negative things

    What can the manger say when they are contacted for employee verification?

    :mad::confused:

    I don't know specifically about Nevada but an employer who gives out incorrect info, info which the employee can prove is incorrect, can be sued in other States.

    That's why employers tend to give out dates and nothing more - and apparently your ex employer can't even get that straight.
