Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan Plastic Retainer Clip
Had to remove Ceiling Fan, Cheshire model - Harbor Breeze-Hampton Bay manufactured (I believe) Litex. The mounting screws securing the outlet box stripped out of the support member allowing fan assembly to fall from ceiling, hanging by only the power supply line. (previous home-owner had used too short a screw (3/4" long) to support the weight). Removed Ceiling Fan and mounting bracket from outlet box to allow re-attachment to beam "securely". When removing the plastic (black) retainer clip, it broke into 4 pieces. I tried JB Weld to reattach the pieces, (did not bond). I tried crazy glue, same result. I have searched Litex web site and several other sites for this part with no luck. There is no part number stamped or embossed on the part. I have checked with Lowe's and Home Depot but neither merchant carries this part and could not give me any idea(s) where to get a replacement clip. Hopefully someone might know where I can get this plastic clip. All you help is appreciated. Regards.

Which part are you referring to? I've installed and removed this model fan and don't recall any plastic parts. A picture would help.

I took the picture but the pixel content is more than allowed. I called Litex Ind and they said, because the fan carries a lifetime warranty, they would send me a replacement clip no charge. Regards.
