I believe you are talking about Gesterol. It is a progesterone which can help with maintaining the pregnancy early on. Normally in early pregancy, progesterone levels will rise to support several functions, but for some women, particularly those with a history of miscarraige, progesterone is sometimes prescribed to help increase the levels in the first several weeks.
Many feel it is best absorb, and thus offers the greatest benefits, when it is a suppository or cream instead of a tablet, but it can depend on the circumstances.
If you have a history of miscarriage, your doctor may want to do a scan early on... maybe 6-8 weeks. Otherwise, depending on where you live, you may not have a dating scan until the 12th week. Some places will do one about 20 weeks or only if there is thought to be a medical need.

Yes, some women will get headaches in early pregnancy. Other than missing a period, I didn't have any symptoms with any of mine until a bit farther into each pregnancy as well.

You can have cramping in early pregnancy... some women say it feels like their period is about to start. If it is very severe, or just causes you concern, let your doctor know.

    Achuroy,

From a previous post, didn't you already have a positive pregnancy result, or was it not confirmed? Are you wondering if you could be pregnant, or whether you might need to be concerned about what you are feeling being in early pregnancy?

Can you explain what yarning is? I'm a bit lost on that one.

Oh, darn, I should have figured that out. I couldn't stop thinking about knitting, I don't know why. Thanks. ;)
