    Change of Status F1-H1-F1
    Hi everyone
    I have done my masters, dec2007 and my H1B got approved and it started from OCT2008, Now again I want to change my status to F1, can that be possible, I have a valid 5 year F1 visa stamping.If I could do that, do I need to go for stamping again, please reply me.

    If you are in status and qualify for the F-1, you can apply for the F-1. please note that you must be able to show financial ability to pay for tuition and expenses for the entire program time as there is limited employment authorization.

    And remember if you change your mind and want to go back to the H-1B, you will not need to apply under a new H-1B cap, as you have already been counted in one already.

    As you finished your Master's degree program and you are starting another, you should apply for a new corresponding F-1 visa correctly annotated.
