    My cat has got really grumpy
    Hi I wold really like some help on this one I have a 5 year old tabby who is a house cat she has never been dressed but has had all her shots . 3 weeks ago she got out... And never came back for 24 hours in the last week she has been sooo crabbit with our older cat even if he is at the other end of the room she will give off a auful warning growl even though she has no aggressive back arching or anything its so weird. Any help would be fab

    Sounds like she's feeling grumpy. When you say she hasn't been "dressed" does this mean that she isn't spayed? If she isn't then that could also explain the moodiness.

    Hiya yes sorry that's what I meant any ideas it's a total change of attitude for her. Also eating more have wormed her etc but worried could any one tell me what the early signs of pregnancy are or am I way off the mark. Any help would be great

    Sounds as f she might be in pain. I would take her to the vet to make sure she is OK

    Hiya she is going to the vets Tuesday but she isn't in any pain she sits on my knee and purrs away and is padding away as always the only difference is when my boy cat walks in :confused::confused::confused: and the growl growl but like I said before no aggressive back arching etc .oh and defo a higher food intake.

    What do I look for at 3 weeks to see if she could be.

    I think you need to take her to the vet, both to find out if she may be pregnant and also to find out if there might be something else going on. For insance, she could well have been injured while she outside, and cats don't always display pain in the ways we might expect. Some cats purr when they are in pain. A trip to the vet is your best option at this point.
