    I love German Shepherds - some years ago my Vet advised me AGAINST the breed because they were being selectively bred for size, not temperament, not brains, not beauty, and the breed was pretty much "ruined." Some years later it was Labs, also bred for size and no other factors. Collie were inbred until their skulls were so narrow they literally couldn't accommodate a brain.

    Now people are breeding for small stature and probably having the same types of problems.
