Hi this is the 1st time doing this.I live in ontario,I was married here.My wife and I separated 3 yrs ago.We went to court before a jude and had all the money issues dealt with.I paid for the actual divorce papers I signed them and left them with the court clerk.1 yr later I found out my wife never signed the papers even after I notified her attorney.Ithink I know the answer,but am not sure.AM I DIVORCED.I believe not.I have know idea where she now lives.If in fact I'm not divorced,how do I go about it?I have tried to contact her family but no one is talking to me,even her close friends will not help.I was involved in ashooting 2 yrs ago I was the victim,I was shot by police,now I have law suits against the police.My way of thinking is that she now knows of the law suits,due to common friends is it possible she didn'tsign or can come back on money awarded?sorry about so many questions that are simaler.Paul Reeve.thank you.

Nope, unless you both signed and returned the paper work and then the judge signed them.

It is easy to check, go to the court where you filed your case and check the status of it.

So now it is basically back to th drawing board.
