Why is cat pooping on the floor?
Well we have 2 cats (max and peanut) both males and they are around the same age both neutered and de-clawed and they get along great. The problem is one is pooping on the floor and I'm not 100% sure who it is but I'm guessing it is max because he is an EXTREMELY picky cat. He is the type of cat that only eats certain shapes out of the dry food, the others he spits out, he's weird, well anyway I think he's the one who is pooping all around the basement because my mom bought a smelly type of kitty litter, it smells like flowers and I don't think max likes it, I clean out the box every day and I still find poop in the corners of the house. Mom says she'll get rid of both of the cats if they keep doing this, how do I keep them from pooping everywhere?

Honestly, your best bet is just to switch litter brands. Go back to what you were using before the problem started. If that doesn't work on its own, you could also try relocating one or more of the litter boxes. My guess is that you know your cats pretty well, and if you noticed the new smell imagine how strong it must be to them. I'd start there.
