    Warm kitchen floor
Normally the linoleum kitchen floor feels cool to your bare feet, The last couple of days I've noticed that it feels slightly warm to me. Am I crazy? Also, you know how you'll turn on the hot water and it's cool for a while until the hot water kicks in? Well, today I noticed that the cold water is warm for a few minutes until it turns cooler.

Any ideas? We checked the oven and it seems to be working OK. The hot water heater seems to be running, although when we listened to it last night it did shut off after a while--I can't remember it being on so long when no water has been used, though.

    Thank you.

Check for water leaks from the hot water pipes. Do those pipes run beneath the kitchen floor?
