    Trying to find out the artist and song name.
    It's an older song, around the 80's or 90's. It's a woman singing and part of the song I remember is "Do you know what i mean?"

    You are probably referring to the song "What I Am" by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians from the album "shooting rubberbands at the stars"
