    Who is author of this book
    Children's book of poems and nursery rhymes, large 2 vols. One is green cover and one is yellow cover printed in 1950's. About 12 inches tall. Contains: Hushabye time and Winklen, Blinklen and Nod and many more. Has illustration inside of children in boat casting net at stars. I don't know the author oo publisher. Will appreciate help. Thanks.

    Probably Eugene Field, a well know chlidren's poet. Or at least he was well known back when people read their children poetry. See Eugene Field - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

    Thanks flyyakker. It might be a book by Eugene Fields. I was searching for information for someone trying to locate copies of a childhood book. Thanks for putting me on this trail.
