Rusty water - brand new water heater
Just hours ago I had a new hot water heater installed. From every faucet I'm getting rusty water that leaves a slimy film. I've left hot water running for almost an hour, but no luck. What's the deal here?

    Hi Peeps...

Did they use the fittings from the old water heater to install the new water heater? If they did then it is highly likely that there is some sediment deposits in the fittings and it is slowly loosening and showing up as dirty water...

Also, when water lines get disturbed by turning water flow ON it can also kick up tons of sediment in the lines.

Continue to purge the lines at ALL fixtures and then let the water pipes/sediment settle in for awhile and then see what happens. If issue is still present in the morning pop back and let us know...
