    Plumbing venting
I am building a cabin and I am trying to figure out how far I can install a toilet from a 3 inch vent stack without adding a separate vent for that toilet. I have read on this site it can be 6 to 10 feet depending where you live. The cabin is located in Island County Washington State.

Was there a permit pulled and will the job be inspected? If not then any where between 6 to10 feet will work. Washing State falls under The Uniform Plumbing Code that allows up to 10 feet from trap to vent on a 3" drain line. Good luck and thank you for rating my answer. Tom
