    Dryer plug
    I just changed a 4 prong plug to a 3 prong plug rather than change outlet and ran both outside terminals to line 1and line 2 and the middle one to neutral thon took a piece of 12/2 wire and ran from ground screw to cold water pipe is that OK dryer has been running all morning with no problem thanks for your help

    NO not according to the National Electric Code. NEC.
