    How do I book a Stock Redemption?
    I need to book a stock redemption. Our company had 3 owners and one of the owners signed a note for her 135 shares of stock. Do I post the amount to Treasury Stock? We are a regular C Corp.

    Should be as easy as:

    Db Treasury Shares xxx
    Cr Note Payable - xxx

    Am I missing something here? Follow up if needed please.
