    Pressure switch issue
    Good morning Speedball,

This morning I had an issues with my pw (D-30-60psi). It did not trip to build pressure back up and the red light is staying on. I just tapped it and it is working fine now but the redlight is still staying on although not as bright as when rebuilding pressure. Any hints?

You might want to shut the power off and check and clean the contacts. If they have burned spots then file orsnad them clean. Good luck, Tom

Thank you and please disregard the new post, I may have lost my mind for a moment navigating this site.

One other thing while I'm at it. Do you recomment adjusting the pressure on this switch. I have been reading about people doing so. What would you recommend?

You have 60 PSI as a cut off point. The average house pressure's 45 PSI. Too much pressure pots a strain on pipe joints and faucets. If you're satified with your pressure then leave it at that. Regards, Tom
