    First Time Felon
    :confused:I'm facing a first time felony gun charge, with no priors, previous service military, and want to know what I should forward to. Probation? Fines? Jail time?

    I was a CO at the Mississippi Department of Corrections and forgot that my gun was in my glove compartment cause I never use it, and they found it during the normal random searches they were doing one day

    Okay, but I don't know what you were charged with. Could by anything from a concealed weapon to not having a carry permit to carrying a weapon onto Government property without permission.

    Sorry, if I don't have a lot of sympathy for you. But, I know what you mean. I forgot I had 350 pounds of pot in my trunk too.

    Dude, you need a lawyer, unless your plan is to count on the mercy of the court... But, I don't think Mississippi is tooooo merciful towards felons... Nope, I don't think so.
