    More than one w2
    Hello ,

I worked in North Carolina for 3 months for an internship so have one w2 form from there.
Besides my college has also provided me with a w2 form for IA.
    1. In my federal Tax I need to declare both right ?
    2. While filling state tax for IA , do I need to say the amount from NC w2 form ?
Or just mention IA w2 form income ?

    Regards,
    Utkarsh

    1. Yes.
    2. Yes, if you are resident of IA. Then on IA return, you will claim credit for taxes paid to NC.
    3. You will also file NC tax return reporting income earned in NC. Check filing requirements at NC website.

Yes, if you do not owe any NC tax or your income is below the filing requirement.

Go to the NC state government website and find the Department of Revenue or Department of Taxation. Look under Income Tax and they wll normally have a FAQ section which lists the filing requirements, to include the minimum income requirements.
