    2001 civic starter trouble
I have a 2001 Honda Civic with 98K. I replaced the battery in June. I have noticed over the past 2 days that when I try to start it, it takes a few seconds to turn over. The lights come right on as does the clock. This is my first problem with this car. Do I take it to the dealer?

Your spark plugs likely need replacing, if it's slow to start and not slow to crank. Use the same NGK plugs that came in the car. Since you don't work on cars, I would take it to Honda.

I'm not sure if your concern is that the battery is not staying fully charged or if it's slow to start.
