Back up in basement from kitchen sink
I noticed the other day that when I was running the dishwasher that the drainage was coming back up in the laundry basin in the basement. I have tried everything to get the clog out. I was wondering how to fix this. This afternoon I ran the water from the kitchen sink went in the basement and could hear it draining and then slowly it comes up the basin. Evenutally the water does reside. I just don't know where the clog is. I have put chemicals in both at the kitchen sink at at the basin, nothing seems to help. Please help me. I don't want to have to call a plumber.

    Thanks

your clog's located downstream from the basement laundry sink.

I am no fan of putting harsh chemicals in your drainage system. Besides they only seem to work good in TV commercials.
The solution would be snake the drain from the basement laundry sink roof vent. Rent a sewer machine,(see image) and send the snake down the vent stack. Put out enough snake to read the base and 16 feet more. Flush the drain with a kitchen sink full of hot water. Good luck and thank you for rating my answer. Tom
