Honda Civic 95 run motor on stand
    Hello

I Have a running 95 Honda civic that was hit. I am trying to take the motor out and make it run out of the car. I unplugged the computer and moved it to the engine compartment and tried to do the same with the wiring on the driver side. What wires are absolutely necessary to make the engine run? I don't have a wiring diagram or anything. All I do know is if I run power to a black and white wire in a plug by the driver side the starter motor spins but I know I have no spark. Any help or ideas.

    Thank you

    Kevin

This is not an old chevy 350 its almost impossible you would need the full indash wiring harness along with the fuse box(under the dash and the one under the hood ) fuel pump and relay for that ,the ecu harness the runs though the firewall full engine harness and if it was manual you would also have to fine a way to jump the clutch switch I'm sure there's a lot more to it but that all I can think of right now

Well I did start to do some of this which is where I think I have a problem. I have the fuse box from under the hood and the one from under the dash I have the wires that plug into the steering column all the way to the key. I also have the computer through the firewall out by the engine. The wires going to the instrument panel are not plugged in and the large wire harness going from the computer to the wiring harness by the driver’s side is not hooked up. In order to get the computer and the fuse box out I had to cut the wires running along the floor between the computer and the drivers side fuse box. I re attached the larger 10 gauge wires but not the 50 little wires.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or something I can just match wires up with to see what I need to reconnect or jump out? If I need to take anything else out from inside the car to make it work I would. The car is totaled but engine was still running.
I wish it was a 350 checvy at least I could get an old distributor

I have a 91 honda civic 4 door sedan dx. I just replaced the rotor and distributor cap and now the car won't start. First I checked multiple times to be sure I had the firing order correct. I then read the thread written by CroCivic91 and checked my ECU codes. I got a 10 and 16. The 16 sounds...

Engine runs rough - a lack of power but not a hard miss - until engine warms up but car must sit for at least 18 hrs. 170,000 miles. Replaced plugs, cap rotor - no help. Distributor shaft has minor oil leak allowing oil to get inside of cap - maybe related.
