    Deleted my trash bin from my desktop by accident. How do I restore my trash bin

    (1) Right click on the desktop and click personalize.

    (2) On the top left hand side there will be a button that says change desktop icons, click it.

    (3) Now click on the recycle bin that says (full) under it.

    (4) Now check the box that says recycle bin. Click Apply and then OK.

    No need to assume:

    Pdbluee6 said he deleted it by accident; you can not delete the recycle bin by accident in XP, in XP you have to edit the registry to do it, therefore "by accident" he has vista
