    Marines Martial Art Program?
Hi my name is abraham , just turned 24 years old,I am currently in college and will graduate with an associates in ART. I am interested in the martial Program that the marines have, My questions are: can anyone get in to the program after bootcamp? How long it's the Martial art program?? Are there any other programs you can get in while on duty ( such sniping school or any special training etc ). I really would like to take advantage of being in the military and learn the most of it. Thank You

    Abraham

Both of your questions are concerning entering the military. The question of rank placement could be answered by your local recruiters. A simple phone call can get you those answers. Shop all the military recruiters to see what is available. Keep in mind, they are salesmen for their military service and will use their sales ability to get you into their branch of service. Check out all the different branches & decide what is best for you.
Having been a former Marine drill instructor, the question about martial arts training was interesting. During my years, basic self-defense was part of boot camp and included bayonet training. One thing that is guaranteed is that you will be in the best physical condition of your life upon graduation. You will be strong, fast & have a whole new outlook on life. You will gain a confidence in yourself that you might have never thought was possible. There may well be a martial arts program within the Marines now. Most of the guys in my time just trained with each other.
Everything you mentioned (martial arts, sniper school, etc) is concerning the infantry. While every Marine is trained as an infantry rifleman & is expected to perform as such when necessary, there are many other fields available. At your age & having extended education, it is doubtful that you would be placed in the "grunts" unless you specifically requested that field as part of your enlistment.
Do not even consider the Marine Corps unless you are totally committed to earn that title. Besides the tough boot camp, you will always be the first outfit sent into the worst places. You will never stay in one place for longer than 18 months. It is ideal for one who has no family but is hell for those who have loved ones. Your family will be your fellow Marines.

If you want to serve in the military, you do so for that reason,

If you want to learn some neat martial arts, interview local schools that teach varioius forms
