Alternative releasing agent for concrete stamping
I am planning to stamp and then acid stain a small patio (80 sf). I am renting the stamp, but the rental place does not carry releasing agent. I local construction supply store can order a 5 gallon bucket of a clear release for $125, that will take a while to get in.
Are there any alternatives that will allow the stamp to release from the concrete that I may have easier access to?

My concrete guy uses dry powder stain and that acts as its own release. The next day you hose off the excess powder and then seal after a few days of curing.
