    Honda Civic Side View Mirror
I have a 1995 Honda Civic DX 4-door. I suspect my son knocked my right side view mirror with a basketball, and now the manual control knob doesn't work correctly. I want to remove it, and possibly replace it. My neighbor said to just pry off the triangular shaped plastic moulding on the inside of the door, removing it from the clips. Is that correct? There is a large phillips head screw several inches down, going through the trim. Does that need to be removed?

    Thanks

yes the black cover just pops off but be careful the break very ez you do have to remove the door panel there are 3 screws that hold the mirror on without removing the panel you can not get to the bottom screw. Hope this helps

this is what it looks like as you can see there are hooks on the bottom so when you go to pull it off pull from the top to get the metal clip off when you do that then just pull up and you got it
