On the highway gets very hot but not to the red mark, when I get in the city goes down closed to the middle... when I changed the belt it seems the a/c compresor started making a loud noise... I'm not sure if the air compresor is the cause... because all have to work together to mantaing the right temp... any sugg??

The A/C compressor shouldn't affect an overheating issue as it's on a separate system; A/C uses freon to cool, while radiators use coolant.

Have you tried getting the radiator & heater core flushed out? You might have built up deposits which are causing it to overheat; do you know how old the antifreeze it?
