    Does stress affect the baby?
Posted on here before I have 4 children and number 5 on the way. 3 children are from a previous relationship ( eldest has severe autism) Current well I can't call him partner because he has ran off and I have a 10 month old baby and Im currently 9 weeks pregnant again. He proposed at christmas and we planned to marry this November when I would have the coil removed and we would try again except we didn't need to try and I was already expecting- the coil is still in there by the way. Anyway since I found out he has been down right horrible won't return my calls says he no longer loves me etc. Obviously I find this hard to take and spend most of my time exhausted and crying! What affect if any will this have on my baby? I already feel attached wasn't supposed so happen but it is here now. I wish I didn't get stressed but I do feel hopeless :(

Sorry for your current situation! The stress will affect the health of your unborn child as well as it will have an impact on your other children. Try to manage your life without people you cannot trust and be more selective with the men of your choice.

Stress can be affect you and your baby. Please call your doctor to talk about ways this could affect you (blood pressure, etc.) and inquire about getting emotional support.

Your physician will be able to give you a list of resources in your area. Good luck to you!

I am not a doctor... just read this info on a pregnancy book. Stress can prevent nutrients from passing to the placenta. So baby will not get enough even if you are eating well.

    Do check with your doctor.
