    Bleeding pregnant cat
My cat became pregnant around christmas time when she got out of the house. It's only Feb 7,2009 and she has blood on her vagina. What should I do and what should I expect? I've never dealt with a pregnant cat before and she's my baby should I be worried? What should I do for her?

It's too early for her to be giving birth, the gestation period for a cat is 58-65 days. It could be that she's miscarrying or that there are other problems. It's time to go to the vet. Any time there's bleeding it's best to seek proffessional advice.

Please, have your cat spayed after this, she'll be happier and healthier, and there are enough unwanted kittens out there already.

    Good luck.
