    No lease oral agreement
    I(Chico, CA-house location) no longer have a lease with my brother. He is coming Tuesday, he let me know through a text Thursday, to kick me out and call the police on me to throw me out. My brother claimed if he had more money he could save his house from foreclosure in December. My mother(Red Bluff CA) lent him$37,500.00 in order for him to let me stay at the house rent free. My brother said forever but my mom and I thought at least a year's rent was covered in loan. Two weeks after loan he demanded more from my mom-who has no more money and is making payments on the loan she took out and gave to him. He said we would be a family with properties and I could start my animal rescue thin, which obviously would not make a lot if any money. Can he come to my door, scream for me to get out and call the police to literally throw me out??
    Please help my brother is bipolar and severely depressed living in bay area paying rent on an apartment and does not want to move out of bay area.

    Hello sister:

    He can't just throw you out. He CAN go through the legal eviction process. You ARE a tenant, and if the loan was rent, then tell the judge and he'll decide.
