PA Resident, NJ Employer , NY Client. Which State Tax liable ?
    Hello,

I live in the state of PA. I can prove my domicile there. I do not have a permanent place in NY.

My employer is based in New Jersey. My employer's client is based in NY.

I work from Monday to Thursday at the client work location in NY. Fridays, I work from home as needed. I return home every Thursday and come to NY every Monday morning. I do not have a place in NY that I can call permanent.

Do I owe NY State Taxes ? My employer has started deducting NY taxes.

    Thanks for the hep.

If you are present in a state, then any income earned during this period, must be reported to the state. So you must file NY tax return.

To your resident state, you must report your worldwide income for the year. Read about taxes involving two or more states: Your U.S. Tax Return: Working or Living in Two or More states
