    Variable cost per unit
With a range of activity what would remain unchanged?

My response would be variable cost per unit and also variable cost in total.

needcpa - not sure if I understand what you are asking for.

a variable cost is variable, so it would not remain unchanged given a range of activity... in other words, the variable cost varies given the range of activity. The only thing that remains unchanged are your fixed costs.

can you be a little more clear about what you are asking?

    thanks.
