    Bond for deed
    Is this a good idea ? I am looking to buy a home and the seller wants 10% down and payments for 3 years. Then I will need a bank loan to buy the home.

    Its your call. If you feel you can get a loan for the balance due within three years, it may be a good deal. A lot may depend on the numbers.
