    Cool in the winter
    What is wrong with a unit when the pilot is lit, but the burner doesn't always ignite causing the pilot to extinguish?

    I believe that is a older unit. If it has a 3 wire pilot like the one pictured I would suspect that as a problem area. Post back if that is not the pilot design you have.
