    Drink plenty of water (preferably ice cold, because your body burns calories to heat the water to body temperature), exercise, eat 5-7 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones, cut down on processed foods, salt and sugar, eat lean meat (fish and chicken), don't eat fried foods, don't drink sodas or sugary drinks (you will be amazed at how much weight you can lose if you cut out all sugary drinks like juice, soda and just drink water instead), and just don't take in more calories than you burn because then they just go straight to fat.

    There have been newer studies over the years on the volume of water people injest when dieting.

    It can actually be dangerous, and people should recognize the warning signs, and be aware of a possible resulting illness called Hyponatraemia.

    Hyponatraemia can result when a person drinks too much water. This dilutes their blood and causes water to flood their cells and organs.

    Cells in the brain can then swell up, increasing pressure inside the skull. If vital regions of the brain are compressed this can cause symptoms ranging from headaches to problems with breathing or seizures.


    I was unaware of this and up until the last few years, drank far too much water than what I needed in order to maintain my weight, or lose a few pounds.
