According to Islam Men are not suppose to put on anything that would make them like women, and earring is originally for women to look good and attractive, therefore, men can not put on ear-rings. Allah knows best!

Islam has made life easier for whoever wants to follow it.Allah created man and woman equally.But he gave each different role to play in life. Islam acknowledges beauty in women of which they must upholde while men are endowed with ability to fend for the family. The Prophet warns men not to imitate women and vice versa .A woman should gress like a woman while a man should dress like a man.In our society women are know to put on earring therefore a man should not copy

Your question shows how educated are you!! Look around you, see how the whole world is suffring, and see how divided Islam has become because of Shiiti and Sunni issues. People like you make it worse for Islam as whole, because you favor one over the other, and by the way this is due to lack of education, and I mean Islamic education, and knowing that God created all of us equally. The best among us is the one close to Allah. I suggest that you change direction and view muslim as one, one that do their purpose in life which is worship Allah.
