    Am I Okay Really?
I have been on depo since 2001 and stopped taking it in 2005. In July of 2006 I have gotten my period back and it lasted until August 4th. I started another birthcontrol in the process. I got 2 yeast infections after my period stopped but now its August 14th and I'm bleeding again. I worried that something may not be right. I have been to the doctor and they said the length of my period may be normal since I stopped taking depo, but I just don't feel right about it. I'm worried and need some advice on what to do or should I even be worring.

    Please help.

Nothing to worry about. This is a common side effect of discontinuation of Depo, especially for the length of time that you were on it.

However, I am curious about the yeast infections. Have you been on any antibiotics lately? Do you wear cotton underwear?

Wearing cotton underwear will help lessen this if you are in an area that is hot and humid. Yeast loves heat and humidity, cotton will help cool and absorb any excess moisture.

Nothing to worry about really, good luck.
