    What could it mean?
My period has been irregular for over a year now. Last summer I started on birth control pills but stopped 3 months later. Within the past month I have been sexually active with one person and we only use the withdraw method. Aabout a week ago I started using the pill again only this time it made me lightheaded, and I even threw up twice but only at night. The pill didn't do that to me before, why now?

Are you sure you are not pregnant? When you threw up was it a yellowis-greenish color with almost an acid taste?

Just because you use withdrawal does not mean you will not get pregnant. This is by no means a form of birth control.

I'm not sure. I threw up whatever it was that I ate... then I threw up my ginger ale. I don't remember the acid taste. And it wasn't a constant thing. I threw up twice and that was it. But I still have been feeling nautious.

Sounds like you could be pregnant. Time for a doctor appt. Withdrawal is by no means a form of birth control, like I said earlier.

The pill takes 30 - 60 days to be "effective" and it is not fool proof. Believe me, my oldest is almost 20 and he was conceived while I was on the pill. The doc said it was not strong enough, so after his birth I was put on a stonger and 18 months later my second child was born.

You may have a flu, I am hoping that is all it is.
