    Too much heat!
    Help! This morning, it was very hot in my townhouse. The thermometer read 75 when it was set to be 65. When I came home from work, it was 85. I turned off the heat. What could be the problem??

    Defective thermostat
    Defective control in furnace/air handler.
    Pinched or shorted thermostat wires.
