    Missing the obvious?
    Had a very nice boyfriend and I have broken up with him 3 times in the past 3 years because he seemed so luke warm about it. Only wanted to see me Friday and Sat nights and that was it. No contact during the week. He has an adult daughter living with him (aged 24) in a small villa and she has no intention of moving out.
    He continues to message me and wants us to be 'friends'. We dance together and chat and laugh and it seems like old times, then he disappears (again) emotionally. I feel as though I am still wanting the relationship, even though I am the one who broke up. He seems to want it, then he pulls away. What is going on?

    He has other things beside you on his mind, and in his life. He may be happy with friends, but are you? Doesn't sound like it.

    You can accept his version of friendship, or look elsewhere for romance.
