    GE Profile Clothes Dryer
My GE Profile Clothes Dryer is making a loud squeaking sound. Any idea what is causing it?

    Thanks

The bearing in the rear of the dryer needs to be lubricated. The bearing might also be worn out as well as the slides in the front of the unit. You will need to take apart and inspect for the damaged parts.

I had the same problem with my front loader dryer and it was the bearing as hvac1000 said. Mine was because of sand and dirt.
