    Hunter Fan Remote Control #22798
I have a Hunter Ceiling Fan (don't know what model it is) with a Remote Control #22788, 22798 @ 310 frequency. The remote is getting very finicky and I have to keep playing with the buttons to turn th fan and light on and off and also to control the fan speeds. I tried manually using the chains attached to the unit but nothing works. Does the fan/light only work with the remote or can it be operated both manually and remote? Also, how can I change the controls to manual usage and just use the chains attached to the unit? Anyone know where I can purchase a new remote for this fan?

Just open the fan at the ceiling, remove the remote receiver, and wire the fan without it.
