If you want to, call your brother and have him come and repair it again. Best way to deter the lawn guy from repeatedly running over this pipe is to put something very obvious in the ground near the water pipe vertically and paint it the dayglow orange. You should also tell him if he keeps running over your pipe and wrecking it, it will be at his cost to repair. Hope you have this repaired before your next water bill as that one could be a doozy.

I think that Twinkiedooter has a great answer for you Michelle.

If your brother can repair this then that is great, but don't wait so long that you get a huge bill for WATER and SEWER... ;) Plumber will certainly be cheaper than that bill!

Let us know if we can help.

Your meter is located before curbstop. Or is meter located inside of house. If meter is located inside of house, then a leak outside won't raise your water bill, it will just make a mess outside, and will need to be fixed regardless. I understand that some areas have outside meters, but in my part of the country they are all inside of house, so please let me know what you have. And if meter is inside, then we will have to look for other answers as to your rising water bill.

I have a constant drip in my bathroom sink. After a little trouble shooting, I came to the conclusion that my hot water valve underneath the sink is the culprit.
