What is That Thing Called That Goes Around in a Circle That We See on Websites?
There is this thing that we see nowadays on this site and others that goes around in a circle like a cat chasing it's tail when the website is processing information.
It can be large or small in diameter. It also seems to be something that is relatively recent in appearing on websites.
I'm wondering what that thing is called, please?
Thanks!

I don't see it in Firefox nor IE. Perhaps you have some malware. Can you get a screenshot of it?

Thanks, Need!
If you go to edit a post on here, I think that you'll see it.
It might be very difficult to get a screen shot of it because it happens so fast. But, I think that I'll try to do that.
I don't think that it's any malware. It appears on this site and also on many other sites that I'm on.
Thanks!
>Edit> Trying to get a screen shot of what I'm describing.

Are you meaning the circular thing that goes around in a circle when a page is loading? I think I get that some times. I can't think of what it is called.

Hi, adam_89!
Yes, that's exactly what I mean. It seems to be something that's relatively new. I would like to know what it's called.
Thanks!

Ok I see it too. It's in both Firefix and IE. I agree it's new. They must have done an upgrade to the software that runs the forum, it's the "working" icon, similar to the one in Vista.

I wonder if it has something to do with the recent Microsoft .Net Framework update that we received recently. I'll have to boot into Ubuntu to see if if shows up as well.
