I'm not sure of the set-up on your vehicle, but some have tabs holding the headlight in place. If your vehicle has them, there should be two behind the headlight under the hood. Pull up on them and the whole headlight should come out; when you put the new bulb in, don't touch the glass as the oil from your hands can cause it to burn out immediately.

There is no way to even get to it, I looked in the manuel and it said have dealership replace it, another way for them to get money, you can change every other light but the low beam, Thank you anyway for your time

On my 2002 Acura RSX, the front fascia has to be removed to remove the headlamp assembly. I've learned how to - with much pain and some blood loss - reach all four headlight bulbs without removing the fascia, but it would be much easier if I removed it.

It's not as bad as it sounds, although you have to lie down on the ground to remove the plastic clips that secure the fascia. On my car there are about 10 plastic clips and 2 - 4 philips screws. Then there are 3 - 4 bolts that secure the headlamp to the body.

Sadly, it isn't as easy (or cheap) as it used to be. Depends on the car - I've worked on a 2003 Corolla that has sufficient underhood room to replace all the forward light bulbs without removing anything.

Just had a thought! On the PT Cruisers, there's a small flap above and in front of the tire; you open it up and the headlight is right there.

Hey Guys -- I changed it myself. It's little tricky for right hand side than left. You need to take out windshield water pipe out, then un-install the radiator water tank (very easy, just un-screw the clamp). That will make a space to take the bulb out. Find the bulb assembly, rotate left about 45 degrees. The bulb assembly will be in your hand. But you got to be patient. Do not force to take anything out. Hope that helps.
