    1f85-277 Thermostat
    Hi,

    I have a old W/R thermostat that I am replacing with a W/R 1f85-277.

There are four wires coming out of the wall. Red, Green, Yellow, White.
The red wire is connected to terminal RC. The green wire is connected to terminal G. The yellow wire is connected to terminal Y and the white wire is connected to terminal W. There is also a jumper wire from terminal RC to terminal RH. How do I go about wiring this new thermostat up? I have a single stage trane xl90 furnace.

    Thanks

Transfer the wires from your old stat to the coordinating terminals on your new stat.

Thermostat turns on furnace and then thermostat shuts back to HOLD [ 7 Answers ]

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.
