    Oversea Travel for Felons? Legal?
Can a convicted felon travel overseas? I am not talking about Canada but rather Europe, Asia etc? How does this pertain to those on parole or probation as well as those with a felony history?

Let me expand my earlier question abot convicted felons traveling abroad... Can convicted sex offenders travel abroad?

If you are on parole or probation you have to get permission from your PO for the travel.

And you will have to apply for and get a visa to allow you to enter the countries you wish to go to.

You need to contact the embassy/consulate of those countries in advance for verification whether you need to apply for a waiver or not.

If they can get a Visa to enter a Country or enter a Country which doesn't require a Visa, yes.

You would need to contact the various Embassies.

EDIT: Please don't keep opening new threads - go to the first thread and add to that.

If you are on probation, what are the terms of that probation, likewise - parole. - ? I would say you can't leave this Country.

    I have combined your posts
Do not start a new thread to add info, just "answer" your own post.

But which is it, are you on parole or probation, they are not the same.

And a sex offender is not a crime it is a classification.

So you still had the right answers, you have to apply for a visa to the nation you wish to enter, and the specific crime you did may or may not disqualify you
